Stop Dieting and Start Living

Individual Virtual Sessions

Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, Chronic Dietitng

Nutrition therapy is for you if:

  • You feel preoccupied with food and body worry.

  • You have rigid food rules or diet tools that are hard for you to let go of.

  • You feel out-of-control around food and stuck in a diet-binge cycle.

  • You often eat for emotional reasons rather than physical hunger.

  • You feel exhausted from living your life on diets to lose weight.

  • You feel stuck in the all-or-nothing mentality with food or exercise.

  • You feel shame and guilt when you're eating something "bad."

  • You feel confused about nutrition and just want to eat healthfully but also enjoy all foods like a "normal person."

  • You feel like you know what you "should" be doing, but can't seem to do it.

  • You feel like you have a food addiction and can't be helped.

  • You're stepping down from an eating disorder treatment program and looking for an outpatient dietitian to support your ongoing recovery.

Through personalized support and guidance, I want to help you make peace with food, learn what your body needs, and rediscover the joy of eating. During sessions I may utilize medical nutrition therapy, principles of intuitive eating, temporary meal plans if needed to meet your needs, motivational interviewing, mindful eating, and acceptance and commitment based therapy. I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework, believing that all bodies are meant to be different and that everyone deserves individualized, compassionate care. This means together we can work on moving away from the scale and focusing on behavior changes that support you happiness and well-being.
